The 400 m dash world runner-up in Doha, Colombian Anthony Zambrano, was one of the attractions in the City of Salamanca-Carlos Gil Pérez Memorial Trophy, which was held this Saturday.
Zambrano prevailed in the complete lap of the track with an excellent time of 44.91 seconds, a new performance below 45 seconds, after the 44.57 with which he placed second on May 28 in his debut in the Wanda Diamond League.
In Salamanca, Zambrano was escorted by Alysan Mazen from Saudi Arabia (45.74), leaving two other Colombians, Jhon Alejandro Perlaza (46.21) and John Alexander Solís (46.55), in the third and fourth places.
